What is Scan to Pay?
Scan to Pay is a web-based payment option that can be used to pay for parking at selected car parks. It allows you to pay for your parking by scanning a QR code without the need to download our App or create an account with us. You can simply scan the QR code displayed at the car park, and you’ll be directed to the correct payment page for the car park location.
How do I pay using Scan to Pay?
Scan to Pay is easy to use by following these simple steps:
- Scan the QR code with your mobile device, this is displayed on signage throughout the car park.
- Your mobile device will open a webpage for payment.
- Enter your email address, licence plate number and parking session duration.
- Choose a payment method (credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay).
- Enter your payment details.
- Tap Pay Now.
- Once the payment has been processed, your parking session will be active.
When should I use Scan to Pay?
You should use Scan to Pay when you enter the car park and have parked in an available bay.
Can I get a receipt with Scan to Pay?
Yes. You can request a tax receipt during the payment process by entering your email address. If you don’t receive your receipt, please check your spam folder. You can also request a copy by contacting our Customer Experience team.
Can I use Scan to Pay multiple times a day?
Yes, you can scan and pay multiple times per day, subject to the Terms and Conditions of the car park (located on the signage at the entrance to the car park). However, if the car park offers a free parking period, it will only be valid once per day and will apply to your first paid session.
What happens if I do not pay for parking?
Using Scan to Pay verifies that you have an active parking session at the car park. If you have not paid for parking and your session is not active, you may be issued with a breach notice by the Traffic Monitoring Services who are monitoring the car park regularly.
What if the QR code redirects me to an unfamiliar webpage?
Scan to Pay uses the domain www.payforyourparking.com. If you are redirected to a page with a different domain name, it may be a QR code scam. We advise you not to proceed with payment but to take a screen shot of the page and escalate it to our Customer Experience team.
Can I extend my parking session?
Each parking session is unique and cannot be extended. If more time is needed, please follow the link in your receipt email to and start a new parking session.
Can I get a refund if I want to leave early?
We do not issue refunds if you end your parking session early. Please carefully review our Terms and Conditions
What is a validation?
A validation allows you to receive discounts or additional free parking hours. This is usually available by arrangement with a local business.
How do I use my validation?
If you have a validation, you simply:
- Scan the QR code at the car park.
- Register your parking session.
- Then, scan the validation QR code to apply the discount or promotion before completing the payment.
When should I scan? At entry or exit?
Scan at entry. Scan to Pay replaces the need to download an app and takes you directly to the payment page for parking.
What if I don’t see the parking session page?
Please check the car park opening hours, you will only be able to start a parking session during those hours.
